LACC’s Courtesy Boat Inspection Program has been in operation for fifteen years. Beginning the Monday after Fathers’ Day and Closing on Labor Day our inspectors work from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 5pm on weekends. Our inspectors are trained to “catch” our invasive milfoil and Naiad from leaving our lake and to prevent new invasive such as Eurasian Milfoil and Zebra Mussels from getting introduced to Lake Arrowhead. In addition to inspecting at the public boat ramp at Ledgemere Dam, last season we began inspections on weekends at LAC’s member boat ramp in Bay Cove.
